Why make the switch to a natural shampoo bar?

Why make the switch to a natural shampoo bar?

In every minute of our lives, new products are always popping up. There is one for this, one for that & there is even one for your pet cat.

So, why make the switch to solid haircare bar?

We often feel overwhelmed by all the things that we 'should' do and sometimes it just comes down to having one of those minutes to make the change. ⏳
From the Solibar conception stage, we thought about the benefits of creating a solid haircare bar. We wanted to bring you a product that is not only a better option for you but for the environment & even for your dog. 🐶

We realised that bottled shampoos (not including the natural ones) on the market are full of nasties like - sulphates, isopropyl alcohol, parabens, formaldehyde, propylene glycol. These guys are like the mafia of the shampoo world, with their purpose only to strip your hair of moisture and to irritate your skin. There are even some more super scary things about these chemicals that will make you never want to use them again. Trust us. (Or visit the link below).

With conventional shampoo, not only is your hair left feeling like straw and stripped of its natural oils. This is where the conditioner comes in. It's the perfect antidote to the harsh environment left on your strands by shampoo. 💆‍♂️ We use conditioner because we are conditioned too - and quite frankly that's not good enough for us. 🙅‍♀️

Solibar Solid Haircare Shampoo Bars

Back in the Solibar factory,
we wanted to create a shampoo bar that was going to:
  • shampoo your hair in the same way as conventional shampoo 🧖🏼‍♀️
  • be the best option for healthy haircare & not contain any nasties 🌴
  • decrease the need for conditioner, by creating a bar that is moisturising 💆‍♂️
  • not contribute to the already increasing rubbish created by plastic bottles 🌿

So we did it.
